Pop music stars Delta Goodrem and The Veronicas have taken out top honours at the MTV Australia Awards.

Goodrem took home the award for Music Video of the Year at the awards, held in Sydney last night, while The Veronicas were named best Australian artists.

Rapper Scribe flew the flag for the kiwis, winning the New Zealand Artist award.
